AIDEDeX (Artificial Intelligence for Detection of Explosive Ordnance Extended) aims to provide a baseline for advanced and mature research for multi-robotic systems with State of the Art sensors and Artificial Intelligence Algorithms for the detection and classification of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices), EOs (Explosive Ordnance) and Landmines. Lightnovo is proud to be part of this project alongside Space Application Services (coordinator), The Royal Military Academy, CATEC Research Centre, HCR-CTRO, and Fraunhofer. Lightnovo will contribute to the robotic system with a Raman sensor based on the miniRaman spectrometer platform.
The AIDEDeX project is funded by the European Union under the European Defence Fund (EDF) and managed by DG DEFIS.
