C++ Developer
Who are we looking for? The required engineer is expected to be comfortable developing C++ Desktop Applications in Qt for Windows 10, being familiar with designing programs for controlling external hardware, able to debug both hardware and software.
Mandatory Skills: C++, Qt, Windows
Technical Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience actively working with the C++ programming language:
- Familiar with the C++ 14 and 17 specs.
- Experience in Qt 5, signals/slots, and event-driven programming.
- Experience in multithread programming and synchronization techniques.
- Experience with hardware programming:
- Familiar with hardware communication via serial ports, TCP/IP, Bluetooth.
- Controlling scientific data acquisition and storage.
- Familiar with developing data visualization-oriented GUIs
- Designing GUI with strict performance requirement for displaying real-time plots, data maps and video streams.
- Familiar working with large datasets of scientific data.
- Experience developing DLLs and APIs for automation from external software.

Embedded Software Developer
Who are we looking for? The required engineer is expected to be comfortable developing C/C++ applications for single-board ARM computers with Debian/Ubuntu-based OS, being familiar with basic digital electronics and logic design.
Mandatory Skills: C/С++, Linux, embedded programming.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in С/С++ on embedded platforms.
- Using low level Linux/POSIX APIs.
- Understanding of digital electronic circuits and hardware.
- Familiar with low-level hardware communication protocols: CSI, SPI, I2C, RS-232.
- GUI programming on low-res screen with joystick control.
- Networking protocols and communication to host software: TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Protobuf.
- Creating small embedded Linux images.

Mobile App Developer
Who are we looking for? The required engineer is expected to be comfortable developing Java/Kotlin applications for controlling gadgets from Android devices, being familiar with designing user-friendly GUI and hardware communications protocols.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in Java/Kotlin on Android.
- Experience with designing complex apps is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiar with gadget connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Extra:

Who are we looking for? The required sales manager is expected to be focusing on Raman spectrometers and microscopes and should:
- Follow up on in-bound leads and reach out to potential customers
- Make presentation and demo for the prospects
- Travel a lot – visit global customers and distributors

- Support and drive distributors
Skills:
- Experience with Raman/spectroscopy a benefit
- Experience selling instruments to customers in academia

Opto-Mechanical Engineer
Job description
Our existing Raman spectrometers and microscopes require continuous improvements in terms of optical solutions, alignment stability, robustness regarding temperature variations and mechanical load, scalability, reduced manufacturing costs, etc.
Therefore, we are looking for an optical engineer with optomechanical skills for full-time position to support us with:
Short term expectation
- development, manufacturing and testing of new optical and optomechanical solutions for Lightnovo product line focused on R&D market: miniRaman and RG Raman spectrometers and microscopes, advanced Raman microscope THOR.
Middle term expectation - optical and optomechanical re-design, manufacturing and testing of our miniRaman spectrometer to fit industry standards IP 65, IP 67.
Long term expectation - optical and optomechanical re-design, manufacturing and testing of our miniRaman microscope to fit medical standards (medical CE marking class II, in-vitro diagnostics)
Key qualifications
- proven expertise in optical engineering, optomechanics development of complex optical systems, preferably spectrometers and microscopes;
- knowledge of Zemax Optics Studio (both sequential and non-sequential modes)
- knowledge of CAD design software (Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works)
- willingness to support the company goals

Lightnovo has offices and manufacturing facilities in Birkerød, Denmark. Candidate will work in Lightnovo offices in Birkerød.
