Open Position
Software Engineer
Description
The development of Raman instrumentation requires a lot of software solutions associated with:
- automatisation for data acquisition from spectroscopic sensor synchronised with multiple stepper and piezo motors, LEDs, visible camera, shutter, acousto-optical modulator, etc.
- Data acquisition process should be supported by real-time data processing like spectrum background correction, smoothing, cosmic ray correction, etc.
- Raman microscopy development associated with laser mapping requires real-time visualisation of mapping process with pre-processed data using peak intensity, peak area, spectrum correlation tools.
- Obtained data requires post processing for chemical identification and quantification.
This would be the list of tasks for an open position of software engineer. It is important to mention that Lightnovo team already work on all of the listed tasks. However, our software development process requires continues support. For this reason we look for a qualified specialist who wants to help us in our goal of making a difference in Raman instrumentation industry.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a software development expert to support us with: Short term expectation:
- development of GUI for advanced Raman microscope THOR
- development of GUI for world-smallest Raman microscope miniRaman MRm
- development of GUI for world-smallest Raman spectrometer miniRaman MRs
Long term expectations:
- contribute in software development strategy
- bringing software development expertise and competences to the team
Key qualifications
- proven expertise in software development of complex systems with hardware and software, including scientific and industrial instrumentation, motion system (C++);
- more than 5 years of relevant software development experience
- willingness to support the company goals
Our workspace
Lightnovo has offices and manufacturing facilities in Birkerød, Denmark. Candidate would not need access to Raman instrumentation continuedly. Therefore, we offer an opportunity to work remotely (from any country). Candidate may work in Lightnovo offices in Birkerød if it is required for project development.
Application
If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply. Please send us your portfolio with relevant experience and CV to [email protected]
Open Position
Sales manager
Description
Our miniRaman spectrometers and microscopes have top-level performance and dramatically lower production costs. Moreover, they are the smallest on the market nowadays. It makes them very competitive on the established market (industry and research). However, mensioned benefits make a possibility to expand Raman technologies in consumer market. Our final goal would be to sell miniRaman as a gadget for chemical analysis for consumers.
We are looking for a sales manager of miniRaman technologies (MRs and MRm) in Europe region for the start. However, the goal would be a world-wide sales in a few years from now.
Salary of the successful candidate will depend on the number of sales.
Key qualifications
- proven expertise in sales of spectroscopic equipment in Europe, (preferably Raman spectrometers and microscopes)
- willingness to support the company goals
Our workspace
Lightnovo has offices and manufacturing facilities in Birkerød, Denmark. We propose to work remotely (from any country in Europe) or from Lightnovo offices in Birkerød.
Application
If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply. Please send us your portfolio with relevant experience and CV to [email protected]
Open Position
Opto-Mechanical Engineer
Description
Our existing Raman spectrometers and microscopes require continuous improvements in terms of mechanical stability, robustness regarding temperature variations and mechanical load, scalability, reduced manufacturing costs, etc. Most of the components produced from aluminum, steel, plastic by CNC machining, 3D printing and injection molding. Therefore, we are looking for a mechanical/ optomechanical development expert for full-time position to support us with:
Short term expectation:
- development of mechanical and optomechanical components for advanced Raman microscope THOR
- development of mechanical and optomechanical components for miniRaman microscope
- development of mechanical and optomechanical components for miniRaman spectrometer
Long term expectations:
- contribute to product development strategy
- bringing mechanics development expertise and competences to the team
Key qualifications
- proven expertise in mechanics/optomechanics development of complex optical systems, preferably spectrometers and microscopes;
- knowledge of CAD design software (Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works)
- willingness to support the company goals
Our workspace
Lightnovo has offices and manufacturing facilities in Birkerød, Denmark. Candidate will work in Lightnovo offices in Birkerød or remotely during CAD design process.
