We used miniRaman spectrometer for SERS measurements in the past and we experienced high sensitivity of the device for low concentration analysis of chemicals by SERS. Therefore, we recently ordered miniRaman spectrometer with miniRaman microscope for automated large area SERS mapping of analyses.

We recently acquired the RG Raman microscope with 785 nm wavelength for studying porous SERS-active thin films based on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Our instrument is equipped with the automatic stage, which really provides some nice automation opportunities. Typically, we use the system to map large regions to spatially identify regions of adsorbed species. Recently, we have also begun a project looking at polymer – MOF composite materials to look at nanoparticle loading and distribution. Although we’re just getting to learn the instrument, it’s a really nice addition to our lab and we already have some promising data.

Your customized work based on our experimental setup is generating images and data as we expected.
